Which should I visit first: the House or the Grotto?

If purchasing Bundle Offer tickets, please visit the Grotto first to ensure you don’t miss your assigned time slot. After your Grotto visit, you can enjoy the House.

Is there parking available?

To ensure a smooth and stress-free arrival to the event, we strongly recommend use of local public transport.

Chiswick House is a 10-minute walk from Chiswick railway station, accessible from Waterloo station. The nearest Underground station is Turnham Green on the District Line, which is a 25-minute walk away. There are also several bus stops just a two-minute walk from Chiswick House, along Burlington Lane and Great Chertsey Road.

The public car park has space for 60 cars, including three spaces for Blue Badge holders, and is operated by Hounslow Council. It is situated just off the westbound A4 and clearly marked by a brown tourist board entrance sign. Chiswick House is a 5-minute walk from the public car park whilst the Gardens are open, or a 10-15 minute walk once the gates close.

The gates to the gardens will close at 5pm so for anyone booked from 4pm onwards, we recommend entering and exiting via the Great Chertsey Road Gate entrance on Burlington Lane

Is there somewhere I can leave my buggy?

We have two buggy parks available in the forecourt. Please note, items are left at the owner’s risk.

Buggies will not be allowed inside the house.

Can I cancel, exchange, or get a refund on tickets?

Tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded. Exchanges may be possible, subject to box office discretion and must be made at least 48 hours before the original date.

What are the arrival and late arrival policies?

The venue reserves the right to refuse admission to latecomers, and admission may only be permitted in the following session if there is space available.

Chiswick House and Gardens has several entrances, and so we encourage everyone to arrive in advance of their time slots, allowing time to navigate your way to the house, scan your tickets and get situated.

For Father Christmas’s Grotto, please arrive 10 minutes before your time slot.
